The work of Nicolas Maigret essentially moves around the idea of the experience. He proposes to the visitor a physical experience, an active and energetic confrontation with the environment. We take part then to a doubt of our perception, by a mysterious link of common elements become unaccustomed. He essentially uses the sound and light, two vibratory phenomena, and all ways of tensions that can emerge from there. This type of process confronts the visitor with a kind of activation of the place, and a physical exchange with the visual and the place as a resonant body. "The confrontation I’m trying to build, is like similar the one that one can have facing the natural elements". More than a hearing satisfaction, this work attempt to bring the visitor into a particular state.

With Between 0.1 Nicolas Maigret set up a process of unused data recuperation, a kind of numeric humus, of which he generates some resonant and visual textures. In this process of translation against nature he considers the computer garbage as an already existing audio visual potential, but unknown (At the beginning their content are not makes nor to be seen nor to be hear). He works then to reveal them at the time of installation and performances as resonant and visual bursts, two synchronous revelations of common information. In this sense, his work can appear in a tradition of research on the link of the picture and the sound.

Artysta proponuje widzowi udzial w fizycznym doswiadczeniu, które jest pewnego rodzaju aktywna i energetyczna konfrontacja ze srodowiskiem. Biorac udzial w tym doswiadczeniu, zaczynamy watpic w nasza percepcje, gdy tajemniczy ciag zwyklych elementów staje sie niezwykly. W tym sprzecznym z natury procesie translacji traktuje odpady komputerowe jako istniejacy choc nieznany potencjal audiowizualny (na poczatku ich zawartosc nie daje sie zobaczyc ani uslyszec).
