Edmond Couchot, Michel Bret, Le pissenlit, 1988. [Interactive installation (instalacja interaktywna)]
To breathe means to animate. This can be proved by the functioning of the interactive system that consists of a screen provided with the breath sensor and the software which allows dandelion seeds to fly on the screen depending on force, direction and lasting of a blow directed at them by the viewers breath. Thus the image is literally interpreted by the viewers breath. As Couchot says, "Since that moment the life of an image depends only on the breath ". See: J. Bury, "From video to performative arts" (pp. 942-943), in: Claude Frontisi (dir.) Histoire visuelle de l'art, Larousse, Paris 2005.
Dmuchac, ozywiac. Zob: J. Bury, "Od wideo do sztuki performatywnej" (ss. 942-943), w : Claude Frontisi (red.)
