"Zone" is a multi-media performance initiated by François R and Dorota Kleszcz, one hour approximate duration, a hybrid event or the meeting of a plastics technician, a performer and a musician. Between the performance, the concert, and the video; "Zone" wants to be visual and sound experimentation in a screen sensitive and conceptual with the manner of a full-length film. The three artists divert film sequences, carry out actions and create into live sound and visual environments with the manner of a sensory laboratory of experimentation. The projected image does not come in visual aids complementary to the sound, but at summer developed in a cross collaboration. Zone is evolutionary so much in its form than in its participants but the direct idea and set of themes remain the same one. The set of themes of "Zone" turns around the psychoses of the man in the urban environment, of the company of information, and the technological development. The sound sequences of live come from various numerical sources preregistered and fixed on the image, others are carried out into live starting from laptops, or of analogical and numerical synthetizers. The performance is structured in several periods including an operation of scanning of the public and a conference on the technological development from the communication and acceleration and the position from the man in his new environment of life dominated by computer.

"Zone" ("Strefa"), trwajacy okolo godziny multimedialny performance zainicjowany przez François R. i Dorote Kleszcz, to hybrydowe wydarzenie laczace aspekty sztuki wizualnej, performance i muzyki. Bedac czyms pomiedzy performance'em, koncertem i prezentacja wideo, "Strefa" jest rodzajem wizualno-dzwiekowego eksperymentu ekranowego o koncepcji i rozmiarach filmu pelnometrazowego. Troje artystów odgrywa sceny filmu, prowadzi akcje i tworzy zywe srodowisko dzwiekowe i wizualne w stylu eksperymentalnego laboratorium. Wyswietlany obraz nie stanowi warstwy wizualnej uzupelnionej warstwa dzwiekowa, lecz jest efektem wspólpracy wzajemnej obu tych warstw. „Strefa" ewoluuje pod wzgledem formy i zakresu uczestnictwa protagonistow, ale sama idea i zestaw poruszanych tematów pozostaja bez zmian. Tematyka "Strefy" obraca sie wokól psychoz, jakie groza czlowiekowi w srodowisku miejskim, posród zalewu informacji i wobec postepu technicznego. W sekwencjach dzwiekowych wykorzystywane sa nagrania pochodzace z róznych zródel cyfrowych, zarejestrowane i zestawione wczesniej z warstwa wizualna, inne zas generowane sa w czasie realnym przy pomocy komputerów badz analogowych lub cyfrowych syntezatorów. Podstawowe elementy konstrukcji "Strefy" to "Proces skanowania" publicznosci oraz "Konferencja" ujawniajaca specyfike rzeczywistosci informatycznej.
