Bernard Caillaud, Calculated images (Obrazy liczone), 20002001. [Algo-cinetic images, generative representation (Obrazy algo-kinetyczne, prezentacja generatywna i aleatoryczna)] Bernard Caillaud ( 1940-2004) trained as physician and is a Doctor of Arts and Sciences. He worked as a painter and photographer from the 1960s until the 1980s. He began using computers in the mind 1980s and now composes digital images either by programming or by using creative software. He presents his work in audio-visual form (including CD-ROM) or, in the context of an exhibition, in self-illuminated cabinets. Further researches on colours and sounds and works on algorithmic visual creation lead to what he refers to as algo-cinetic painting which focuses on the perception of evolving colours. Bernard Caillaud has had numerous articles published in both science and art journals including Leonardo and is the author of two books "Couleur et Aléatoire" (Colours and Randomness) in 1988 and "La Creation Numérique Visuelle. Aspects du Computer Art" in 2001. Swoje prace prezentowal w formie cyfrowej i audio-wizualnej (CD-ROM, instalacje multimedialne). Dalsze badania nad kolorem i dzwiekiem oraz praca nad algorytmami kreacji wizualnej doprowadzily go do wypracowania specyficznej domeny malarstwa algo-kinetycznego, które opiera sie na analizie percepcji ewoluujacych kolorów.
